Job Description:
Position Summary The Division of Infectious Diseases in the
Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina is
seeking a full-time, fixed term Research Instructor to expand the
division’s research and clinical efforts. The responsibilities of
this position will be shared between research (75%) and clinical
(25%) commitments. The candidate will be able to independently run
a research program, including experimental planning and execution,
result documentation, and data analysis. The candidate will be
available to supervise undergraduate and graduate researchers. The
candidate will also provide coverage of our Peds ID consult service
as needed. Preference will be given to candidates with independent
funding and a long-term interest in research. Preferred
Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience Experience in grant
submissions preferred as well as a long-term interest in
research.
