Job Description:
Primary Purpose Of Position The Associate Director (AD) will be
based in Durham but will have responsibility for overseeing the
operations at the North Carolina Research Campus in
Kannapolis/Charlotte, NC. The position reports directly to the JLC
- BBRI Director. The AD will function as both principal
administrator and scientific review director of NCCU’s Nutrition
Research Facility on the NC Research Campus, as well as for Durham
locations. In collaboration with the JLC - BBRI Director, the
Associate Director will be responsible for evaluating, planning,
directing, and coordinating research activities related to the
mission and function of the JLC - BBRI as a constituent body of the
University. The AD will be an extension of the JLC - BBRI Director
in the execution of the Institute’s administrative and research
mission.
