Maintenance Technician - Winston-Salem, NC
Shift: 3rd shift - 11pm to 7am
The Opportunity: -
As Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for supporting the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility. ---The ideal candidate must be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. ---Must be able to apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restore in all areas of Manufacturing. -
Primary duties include the install, start up and shut down of equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown in line with OSHA requirements; inform appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved and maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment. ---The job also includes performing preventative maintenance functions as directed, assisting maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting, and performing other duties as required. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong desire to learn the maintenance of complex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company. -

What you need to succeed: - -


High school diploma or equivalent required -
Minimum of 3 years' electrical maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing setting
Military training and/or technical school preferred , but not required.
Computer experience/operation and PLC Programming
Must be available to work 3 rd shift.
Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, and perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all safety regulations.
A thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
