What's the job?
This position is responsible for performing a multitude of
administration tasks under the guidance of both training and
purchasing functions in the Oxford, NC plant. The incumbent will
assist in the administering, organizing, and record keeping of
company training, invoicing and procedures. This position will
function in an environment that is highly interactive and requires
excellent computer and communication skills. Incumbent will report
to the Training Supervisor.
Maintaining all employee-training files in an accurate and
organized manner.
Produces training manuals using various graphics, test and photos
to enhance the readability of manuals and will initiate training
schedules.
Conducts Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for all production, warehouse,
quality and maintenance position functions and tasks.
Track and maintain individual training/testing spreadsheet
results
Modify and or establish new methods and procedures in producing
training manuals.
Support the Regional Purchasing Manager with Ad hoc project
coordination, reporting, presentations, analysis, etc.
Assist with other departmental requests from the Oxford plant's
cross functional teams
Convert all MRO requisitions into purchase orders and
record/monitor/confirm in a timely basis while working with the
maintenance team to ensure proper planning.
Complete daily "double checks" of all raw material and work with
maintenance storeroom supervisor to clear back orders.
Complete physical inventory of select non raw materials and monitor
inventory level (i.e. fiber drums).
What do you bring?
High School Diploma or GED required but an associate's degree or
bachelor degree is a plus.
Three (3) or more years of experience in the Receiving/Accounts
Payables field (manufacturing environment preferred)
Strong communication skills and have the professional manner to
interact with internal and external contacts on a daily basis.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
changing situations.
Must be able to effectively use Microsoft Office including
Excel/Word/PowerPoint and SAP experience is a plus
