DescriptionJOB PURPOSE:Durham-based pharmacy part of a regional company is in search of full-time pharmacy technicians to fill medication orders under the direction of a pharmacist. Prepares medications under the direction of the pharmacist. May measure, mix, count, package, label and record amounts and dosages of medications.This is a non-retail pharmacy position with limited public contact.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Pulls correct medication from shelf and scans against prescription label for accuracy.* Packages medication in appropriate container for correct dispensing system.* Labels medication container with correct prescription label and necessary auxiliary labels.* Replenishes medications in emergency boxes accurately* Prints delivery manifests and places in correct delivery tote.* Locks delivery tote when ready for delivery; insures totes are loaded to delivery vehicle.* Pulls stickers for reorder items and forwards to Inventory Manager.* Places received stock on shelves accurately.* Generates reports and labels as required.* Maintains logs, records and other required documentation accurately.* Pre-packages and unit-dose medications for inventory stocking and prescription order dispensing.QualificationsMINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:--- PTCB certification a plus, but not required--- Applicants with factory line experience preferredJob: PharmacyPrimary Location: North Carolina-DurhamSchedule: Full-timeShift: 1st ShiftJob Posting: Dec 4, 2020, 9:10:02 AM
