Relocation Assistance! .1 FTE Occ Summary Independently plan and pr ovide professional nursing care for patientsin accordance with physician orders and established policies andprocedures. Provide nursing services to patients and families inaccordance with the scope of the RN as defin ed by the North CarolinaBoard of Nursing. Work Performed Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing careutili zing the nursing process for patients in accordance with physicianordersand established policies and procedures. Use professional nursingjudgme nt to individualize the plan of care based on assessment of thepatient's baseline needs and response to care.Delegate tasks and supervise the ac tivities of other licensed andunlicensed care providers.Assist other nur sing personnel in the delivery of nursing care and actas team leader or charge nurse for a group of patients or an entire unitas assigned.Monito r and initiate corrective action to maintain the environment ofcare incl uding equipment and material resources.Participate in own professional d evelopment by maintaining requiredcompetencies, identifying learning nee ds and seeking appropriateassistance or educational offerings.Act as pre ceptor and support the development ofother staff and formallearners.Par ticipate in the identification of clinical or operational performanceimp rovement opportunities and in performance improvement activities.Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within five years of their start date. Experience Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required. At a manager's discretion, employees with 6 months of experience who are exceptional performers may be eligible for this level. Degrees, Licensures, Certifications Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required.
