Reports to: Director of Surgical ServicesResponsibilities of the PositionPerforms multiple departmental assigned tasks that facilitate the transportation of patients, positioning of patients, room readiness and the turnover processes between surgical procedures.Takes specimens to the laboratory, picks up x-rays, charts, etc.Assembles equipment, assists anesthesia care givers as directed, and performs environmental sanitation within the operating room and immediate ancillary units.Other tasks and duties as assigned.
