Job Description:

Required Skills:
---Demonstrable skills in designing schema, access patterns, locking strategy, SQL development, and tuning Oracle Databases in an enterprise environment
---Modifying the database structure, creation and update to existing database objects per application needs
---Experience in configuring, monitoring, and Cache management for Oracle database servers
---Strong experience in allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system
---Experience in supporting and implementing Oracle Golden Gate
---Must have experience in implementing and supporting Oracle on AWS including RDS
---Experience authoring code in SQL, PL/SQL on Unix/Linux
---Proficiency in one or more shell scripting languages
---Hands-on experience enrolling users and maintaining system security, Controlling user access to the database, Locking down host access
---Monitoring performance metrics, response times, and request rates
---Designing and implementing backup/restore service and disaster recovery (DR) solutions
---Installing and upgrading the database software, Patching the software that powers database
---Good Analytical, Technical, Time Management and Communication Skills
---Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment to establish and maintain effective working relationships
---Participate in on-call rotation and weekend work

Desired Skills:
---Experience with advanced security and Oracle DataGaurd replication
---Demonstrable skills with Curam Software and database schema
