Overview: This Supervisor Wire Transfer- Electronic Payments position supervises the daily processing, documentation, and technology of domestic wire transfers. Oversees the accuracy and timeliness of activities in a high volume, time-sensitive processing environment. Maintains knowledge of the Bank's wire transfer policies and procedures as well as all regulatory guidelines to monitor transfer requests for compliance. Provides training and guidance to associate team throughout the daily workflow. Serves as a liaison between wire room teams, third party vendors, and support staff to communicate and coordinate the resolution of issues. Responsibilities:

• Processing Oversight - Manages the flow of incoming and outgoing wire transfer funds and securities. Ensures that funds, daily file transmissions, and other transactions are processed quickly and accurately. Corrects client accounts and the general ledger as necessary.
• Business Support - Monitors applications and systems utilized in wire transfers for potential issues. Works closely with business teams and third party vendors to resolve system issues while minimizing interruptions to the normal process flow. Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of all account reports, records, retention schedules, and other related documentation. Provides guidance to staff on complex client support and transfer matters.
• Supervisory Functions - Assesses work of associates for accuracy, process improvements, and efficiencies. Ensures compliance with department policies and procedures. Manages the performance of assigned staff, which may include mentorship, training, and staff evaluations.
• Transfer Security - Identifies suspicious activity or keying errors, and escalates to the appropriate parties. Ensures that all internal controls are followed and that wire transfers are kept confidential. Assists auditors and examiners in reviewing daily activities for potential risks or internal control breakdowns. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in Bank Operations, including wire transfer and supervisory OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in Bank Operations, including wire transfer and supervisory Skill(s): Knowledge of Federal Reserve Bank wire processing procedures, and US Treasury regulatory laws and requirements Additional Preferred Qualifications
