PERSON MEMORIAL HOSPITALThe Minimum Data Set (MDS) Coordinator is responsible for the process and completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and quality improvement activities through the coordination of processes of patient/resident assessment tools to meet criteria established by State, Federal, Accrediting and Licensing Agencies. The coordinator assists staff to apply principles of total quality management, coordinating various patient/resident assessment tools, and serving as the liaison for accrediting agencies.Reports to: ECU AdminstratorFLSA: Non-exemptGrade: GX3Minimum Education:High school diploma or equivalent Required.Bachelors Degree in Nursing PreferredRequired Skills:Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.BLS Required from American Heart Association.First Aid Required from American Heart Association.
