Job Description:
SUMMARY
Location: Courtyard by Marriott Durham Duke University/Downtown
Position Type: Non-Management
The starting pay rate for this position is $11.00per hour plus
tips.
Our team isnow seeking an adaptive team player to work in our
Bistro! As a Bistro Server, you will be a key reference for guests
while preparing and serving made-to-order food and beverage
products.
This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Job Requirements:
- Taking guests' orders, cooking, and delivering food
- Ensuring a wonderful dining experience from beginning to end
- Receiving food and beverage orders and ensuring bistro service
space remains well-stocked at all times
- Cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after
each service
Job Qualifications:
- Highly motivatedteam player with strong initiative and desire for
achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including
anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as
necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while
providingexcellent guest service
- Ability to help validate customers' IDs and monitor all beverage
consumption
