Job Description:

This is an Auto Field Claims position & the ideal candidates will be located in the following cities: Durham, Raleigh, or Cary, NC.

Job Summary:

This role utilizes analytical skills to create a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
• Processes a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limits
• Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Education and Experience
  
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 2 or more years of related experience
    
    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
    
    • Ability to obtain and maintain adjuster licenses as required
      
      Functional Skills
      
      • Possess knowledge of estimatics software (Mitchell/CCC/Audatex, etc.)
      • Strong interpersonal skills
      • Ability to operate electronic devices including computers, cameras and cell phones
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Effective skills in time management, organization, and the ability to work under pressure,
      • Ability to adhere to project deadlines and remain flexible in a changing environment

The base range offered for the role is: $43,500 - $85,000 and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factors. Other financial components may be added as part of the competitive compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
