Description:As a team member for the System Operations group, the candidate will oversee and manage post-COD sites in the real-time operations center in Durham, NC. This role will impact our client's success by maximizing availability/uptime for many leading-edge energy storage installations. To accomplish this, the system operations engineer will monitor equipment in real-time for various end users in the utility and C&I space. Overtime will be required as needed. This role reports to the Aftermarket Services Manager.Key responsibilities include:

• Remote monitoring and operation of energy storage sites (for both Utility-scale and C&I deployments) in the remote operations center
• Identification and resolution of faults and alarms. Dispatching of field technicians and 3rd party maintenance providers
• Tracking customer support requests and requirements using the CMMS and various other tools
• Manage customer expectations and execute on long term service agreements
• Creation of battery health reports and maintenance reports for end usersAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with electrical single-line diagrams, mechanical drawings, and network diagrams
  • Experience with CMMS (Salesforce Service Cloud is a plus)
  • Prior customer service / support roles
  • Experience with various monitoring / analytics / SCADA tools
  • Linux knowledge. The command line does service/support
  • Experience with TCP/IP networking, LAN and WAN configuration and security
  • Experience with dispatching field technicians and 3rd party service providers
  • Experience with renewable energy (solar, wind, and battery), industrial communications, and the building blocks / equipment associatedDesired Qualifications
    • Direct experience with powerblocks/equipment's, power system design, and energy storage products
    • Knowledge of NERC / CIP compliance
