Principal System Engineer

The Role
As a Systems Engineer within the Device Control & Governance team, you blend the cyber security and technology management expertise with a passion for delivering outstanding outcomes. The role will provide technical teamwork and planning with Security (Risk and ECS Product Teams), business unit (BU) Partners, vendors, and CTG developers to ensure that the environment is accurately managed/ maintained.

The key areas the team will work with are:

- Device EOL Management - Working with BU Partners and CTG Architecture to plan and mitigate technology debt with integration with Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM)
- Monitoring Solutions - Meeting the needs of IoT Device Solutions by coordinating with Security, Architecture, and Development squads to provide automated solutions

* Vulnerability and Threat Management - Coordinate, Prioritize, and lead vulnerabilities with Business and Vendors.
* Access Management - Coordinate, Prioritize, and Integrate Best Practices for Fidelity and Vendor access to IoT Devices with Security, Vendor, and BU Partners
* Configuration Management : - Coordinate, Prioritize, and Integrate Best Practices.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management (or similar)
* IT Product Management Experience
* Work with BU Partners to develop/analyze metrics, identify opportunities/recommendations and develop best practices in support of migration efforts from internal vendor networks to Operational Technology (OT) network.
* Apply Policy/Standards and Best Practices in modernizing the current state of OT Devices and applications across the Enterprise
* Evaluate and oversee implementation of new OT/infrastructure systems & applications
* Understanding of how to develop a patching program for IoT/OT devices and associated systems
* Understand the procurement process and provide feedback into Security Requirements and SLAs
* Develop manual/automated metrics to ensure Vendor SLAs are being met.
* A self-starter and teammate who can independently manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment
* Strong hands-on solid understanding of Fidelity On-prem and Cloud environments
* Experience with AWS IoT Hub and associated systems development is preferred.
* Familiar with Disaster Recovery Testing and Resiliency processes and implementations
* Financial services experience, on risk management initiatives/programs preferred
* Agile experience and or accreditations preferred
* ServiceNow, Jira and Jira Align experience, preferred

The Team

You work in partnership with the Device Control & Governance Team Lead, CAEC Product Area Leader, other Squad Leaders and BU partners to identify the scope, manage the priorities and execute the tasks to achieve the identified milestones. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you sustain and evolve our innovative agile culture. The team is being newly formed to provide leadership in managing and monitoring IoT devices throughout their lifecycle and guide through a roll out of a Facilities LAN (FACLAN).
