Cloud companies. About This Role Cohesity is seeking a highly
motivated, inherently curious, results oriented Account Executive
to join our Commercial Sales team and drive the adoption of
Cohesitys Data Management as a Service (DMaaS) platform. Reporting
to the Senior Manager, Commercial Sales, you will be primarily
focused on driving net-new logo adoption with occasional upsell &
cross-sell opportunities with existing customers in your territory.
Responsibilities Define and execute sales plans for your assigned
territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying,
managing and closing sales opportunities. Build a business case,
establish value and present proposals to customers that demonstrate
the ability of Cohesitys solutions to meet the customers business
objectives. Construct deals to support profitable growth (ie.
discounts, margins, on-prem vs Cloud, etc.) with flexibility based
on customer requirements. Manage the sales pipeline for your
territory and accurately forecast on a weekly, monthly and
quarterly basis. Work closely with a network of channel partners in
your territory to successfully sell Cohesitys solutions to net new
& existing customers. Partner closely with Sales Development and
Marketing teams to develop demand generation campaigns and
strategies which drive qualified meetings and opportunities for
your territory. Build strong internal partnerships with Sales
Engineers, Field Sales, Channel Development Managers and others to
drive success within your territory. Demonstrate thought
leadership; leverage understanding of future industry needs in
context of market dynamics to create and drive plans that
accelerate growth. Skills/Experience IaaS, PaaS or SaaS sales
experience within a high growth tech company. 5 years of inside
sales or business development experience with a track record of
overachieving versus target. 2 years of experience focused on
prospecting for new customers, owning the full sales cycle and
closing new business sales opportunities. Solid understanding of
the partner & channel ecosystem and how to sell through / with
partners. Experience partnering closely with marketing & sales
development counterparts to define demand generation strategy at
territory level and provide feedback. Excellent internal and
external communication skills, with the ability to talk to both
technical and non-technical audiences, handle objections and sell
solutions. Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay
Transparency Laws - This position has a minimum base salary
starting at $60,000/year. Bonus, commission (if in a sales
function), and/or equity may be eligible for this position.
