Job Description:

Our client is a global, industry leading Software/Hardware IT firm located in the RTP, NC area. Their Learning and Development Specialist will support and help continuously improve our employee experience through Learning and Development. -The successful candidate will provide support of the learning content in our knowledge and learning platform as well as assist with related content of the HR portal.
In addition to the focus on Learning and Development, this person may assist with additional HR projects as time permits. Specifically, the Learning and Development Specialist will partner within the team and lead programs in a performance-based culture. -
Project work may include guidance and support for the Annual Performance Management cycle, Succession Planning, creating Individual Development Plans, providing learning guidance focused on employee development. -Our L&D team also partners with business segments to create classes tailored to specific functions and processes within a department or team. -
Responsibilities: -Collaborate with SME's to create content for compliance and other needs for online and inperson training and co-develop learning programs that are based on both the organizations and the individual's needs.Manage the process on the Learning Platform. Create and deliver/facilitate user instructional training content.Partner with the internal communication function to ensure audience, content and timing meetthe requirements of training programs.Collaborate with the technical team to develop system functionality, solve issues and offerfeedback for continuous improvement of the system and employee experience.Maintain compliance and general training calendar.Reporting and analysis of the L&D platform
Required Skills: ---- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience--- Minimum of 3+ years of supporting Learning and Development.--- Minimum of 2+ years in Instructional Design--- Have a moderate level of knowledge regarding e-learning techniques in supporting thedevelopment and delivery of e-learning packages and compliment larger learning strategies andprograms.--- Experience with learning management system administration (SABA, Open Sesame and LRNpreferred), benefits administration, HR general projects.--- Experience and confident using various video training/meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom, GoToMeeting, WebEx).--- Experience with Articulate Storyline 360 or similar tool helpful.--- Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of theorganization, in the business community and with vendors.--- Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.--- Experience working as part of a cross-functional HR team.--- Strong written and verbal communication skills.--- Strong service orientation and ability to establish/maintain effective working relationships.--- Ability to manage the fluctuation of working with a team and working independently--- Ability to prioritize multiple projects with specific deadlines in an atmosphere of ongoing change and continuous improvement.--- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.--- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
