Job Description:

Labcorp is looking for an exceptional Customer Analytics leader to join our marketing team. The Executive Director, Customer Insights and Analytics will lead a team that generates key insights that influence business decisions, drive product innovation, and helps Labcorp be a more customer-centric organization.

The Executive Director will be responsible for creating long-term vision and roadmap to deliver scalable our customer analytics capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the business. We're looking for someone with the ability to shape and grow a capability and team, strong executive presence, and the ability to credibly persuade and influence. In this position, you will help us develop a deeper understanding of our customers to uncovering new growth opportunities and increase data-driven decision making throughout Labcorp.

Responsibilities:

The Executive Director will oversee the planning, development and execution of marketing analytics programs through:

  • Setting the team vision, strategy and roadmap while partnering with our marketing and business teams to achieve goals
  • Generating insights connecting analytical results with business problems or objectives
  • Communicating in a way that is easily understood and visually compelling, moving our business from insight to action
  • Developing analytic approaches, tools and methodologies that will utilize data to develop deeper customer, consumer and market understanding
  • Managing and evolving our Voice of Customer/NPS programs across multiple customer and consumer groups
  • Determining the need for, selecting and managing external service providers for marketing analytics
  • Collaborating with functions across the enterprise to establish a consistent perspective on critical customer-focused questions
  • Managing marketing optimization programs, including:
    • Developing measurement and test plans
    • Segmenting audiences
    • Performing web and media measurement and optimization, including data collection and analysis
    • Calculating ROI across search, display, mobile, social and offline marketing channels
    • Collaborating with IT and other departments to implement and optimize data collection tags and analytics tools

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • MBA/MA/MS or equivalent with specialization in marketing, statistics, mathematics, business or related field of study a plus

Required Experience:

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience in analytics or business intelligence
  • 6+ years in digital marketing
  • 6+ years analytical people management experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Healthcare, diagnostics or pharmaceuticals experience

Track record in:

  • Leading an analytics team and nurturing analytics talent
  • Using analytics to move business metrics
  • Strong communicator and experience using data to tell a story
  • Enhancing the perception and use of analytics
  • Managing NPS or other customer feedback programs
  • Experience working with large data sets/ data warehouses, including the ability to extract data from data sets using advanced scripting or SQL
  • Proficiency in Data Visualization using Tableau or similar tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on design of experiments (A/B testing)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong written and verbal presentation

In this pandemic we are flexible on location. However, as our workplaces open, there are specific hub locations we will expect our ideal candidate to work from:
