Job Description:

Job Summary: Final Hybrid battery preparation and assembly before inspection and testing by performing the following duties:

Essential Job Duties:


Study, read and understand the schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals and process documents *

Perform complex and advanced assembly of Hybrid batteries according to established specifications and instructions *

Perform precision calibration and advanced adjustments using testing instruments *

Follow assembly and test procedures to promote production of quality products *

Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard conditions to the supervisor *

Ensure all records are maintained according to standard operating procedures *

Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings and instruction *

Perform cleaning of all parts as per established cleaning procedures *

Conduct product testing and performance testing and record the results *

Perform final checks and adjustments for any defect to ensure high quality products *

Perform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacing, refitting and adjusting products as required *

Receive, unload, unpack and transfer materials to different workstations  *

Develop an understanding of equipment and preventive maintenance procedures to avoid any breakdowns and failures and to feed improvement suggestions to Management *

Operate powered lifting and mobile devices such as Fork Lift Truck and Powered Pallet with training and license *

Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area *

Assumes other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications 

Education & Experience: 

High School diploma/General Education Degree (G.E.D); One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Hybrid Battery Remanufacturing experience is preferred 


Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: 

Ability to Be able to lift up to 60 lbs (if presented with material that is at a weight greater than one’s personal comfort level, any employee has the ability to request assistance). Stand for extended periods of time. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
