RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is currently sourcing for a Full Stack Engineer to work in Durham, NC. Summary: Our client has an outstanding opportunity for a Software Developer/Engineer who is a self-starter, with Agile/Scrum based methodology experience working with modern web frameworks and tools including Angular, RESTful APIs, Java, and Cucumber/Selenium Test Automation. This role will participate in the design, development, implementation, and support of mission critical, front end web applications and financial tools using modular JavaScript frameworks (such as Angular), JSON APIs, Java and Web Services. Our web applications are used by Registered Investment Advisors and Correspondents to deliver comprehensive brokerage solutions to our client's institutional customers, including account opening, trading solutions, cashiering, reports and alerts, market data and research, modeling and rebalancing, and risk management and compliance tools. Responsibilities: * Designing, developing, and implementing web applications in a multifaceted financial services environment * Contributing effectively at many different points in a project life cycle as an individual contributor * Adhering to project timelines, addressing and resolving technical issues * Coordinating functional/technical group discussions with analysts and developers under moderate supervision * Delivering on both projects and support tasks in a multifaceted environment * Developing concise and clear technical design documents based on analysis of business requirementsJob Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:* BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience * 6+ years of development experience with strong working knowledge of Angular 2+ / TypeScript, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, and UNIX * Strong experience with web services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.), Spring Boot, and component architecture * Prior exposure to older tech stacks preferred (JSP, Struts MVC, plain JavaScript) for the support of our legacy application * A proven foundation in computer science, with proficiencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design * Deep understanding of the need for testing and comfort with writing unit and integration tests, as well as Cucumber automation tests * An understanding of technical designs at the application level, define strategies, and work closely with fellow developers. * Have the ability to describe problems and recommend solutions to project leaders * You have phenomenal communication skills, are a team player, and have an aptitude for learning new technologies* Analytical problem-solving skills * Ability to manage time and meet deadlines for concurrent projects/assignments in a fast-paced environment * Working experience with TDD and BDD (JUnit, Jasmine), Git source version control, DevOps (Jenkins, Docker), the ability to collaborate, and familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and some scripting language (shell, Ruby, python, etc.), and knowledge of equities market and trading of stock, options and mutual funds Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
