Director, Global Renewal Sales

Location: San Jose, RTP or remote USA

Responsibilities:

* Lead teams to secure renewals and identify up sell/cross sell opportunities within assigned territories.

* Manage forecasting activities, preparing internal reports for management, meeting quarterly and annual targets (quotas) associated with available licensing up for renewal.

* Manage month end bookings, revenue, backlog and develop insight from churn

* Managing a new organization through the change curve and establishing new strategies, processes and procedures. Define, streamline and implement internal business process including development of operational and procedural guidelines

* You know how a renewals sales business works. You can help define the right strategy for our organization. You are intimately familiar with the metrics and measures of a renewals business: Renewal and Churn Rates, Net Growth, and how to performance-manage and forecast your business on that basis.

* You come from a software sales background, where you have demonstrated strong competency in the Responsibilities outlined above. Including Sales Performance Management, renewals, driving growth, driving team development and performance

* You have operated in a recurring revenue model, interacting with account management, customer success and operations teams to support growth and retention objectives

* You thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment

* You have the experience to make sound decisions and judgments creatively, on limited and evolving data

* You have excellent organization, self-sufficient operational, and time management skills

* Ability to Manage and train staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments

* Ability to communicate effectively

* Ability to analyze and solve problems

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community

* Collaborate with internal organizations, specifically inside/field sales and Customer Success to manage renewal sales cycle.

* Negotiate pricing with customers to agree on and commit to updated contract terms.

* Create and present pricing quotes and proposals.

* Collaborate with external partner / distribution / reseller ecosystem in a joint effort to provide a value-driven customer renewal experience.

* Participate and present in customer Quarterly Business Reviews.

Qualifications:

* 10+ years experience in software industry

* Consistent track record of Enterprise Software Sales Management, Renewals and Growth

* Ability to clearly articulate Cohesity's value via verbal and written communication

* Knowledge of SaaS licensing methodology

* Driven and self-motivated with a strong commitment to professional development

* Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office

* Ability to thrive in a quickly evolving and demanding environment

* Familiarity with Enterprise procurement process

* Desire Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

* Demonstrable history of personal development - increasing responsibility and span of control
