G1 Therapeutics, Inc. Senior Director, Commercial Operations in Research Triangle Park , North Carolina The Opportunity:

G1 is currently recruiting a Senior Director, Commercial Operations to join our team, ideally located in our RTP, NC HQ, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer. In this role you will provides operational, strategic, and tactical support to G1?s Commercial Leadership Teams including Sales and Market Access. This role requires a high performing, proactive and visible leader with strong consultative skills, supported by expert business acumen. In this role, you will ensure the streamlined operation of the commercial team through coordination across Marketing, Market Access and Sales organizations. The role provides a high degree of leadership exposure and opportunity to influence critical resource allocation decisions.

To be successful in this role, you will collaborate with a broad range of cross functional leaders across G1 including Field Sales Leadership, Market Research & Analytics, Marketing, IT, HR, Compliance, Legal, Communications, and Finance, among others. You will work to develop training, data tools, and services for the field teams aligned to G1?s Commercial strategy objectives. You will also collaborate extensively with IT to architect and enhance current CRM platform and other sales effectiveness systems. In addition, you will partner with senior sales leadership to identify and successfully implement opportunities for sales process improvement, fostering an organization of continual process improvement.

Responsibilities:

Support the development and implementation of key Sales and Marketing initiatives:

Development, delivery and communication of Strategic Sales Planning (Field Force Targeting and Alignment, etc), events such as National Sales Meetings/POA and operations end to end.

Drive development of national lead-generation activities.

Support digital/non-personal promotion initiatives integrated with field force pull-through.

Facilitate communications between G1 Home office and Field to reinforce POA direction and provide progress updates.

Work with IT to manage and enhance our CRM system for field teams in an increasingly virtual world.

Support the creation and implementation of Sales business plans:

Coordinate timelines for development and cross-functional reviews.

Facilitate sharing of key learnings, customer insights, and resource requests among Commercial and Cross-Functional Leadership.

Ensure tactics/action plans are aligned with the Brand Team.

Communicate key performance metrics/indicators:

Field Reporting: Building, maintaining and enhancing field reports that enable data and evidence-based decision making in the field.

Partner with Market Research & Analytics team to support efficient operations, process assurance, and trend analysis.

Uncover business opportunities and provide Brand Team with field/customer insights to be considered for Brand strategy/action plans.

Partner with Commercial Leadership to explore opportunities for business optimization and field force effectiveness.

Provide business and strategic updates to Leadership.

Provide operational support to drive implementation excellence:

Build and coordinate the Oncology calendar between Marketing, Sales, and Market Access.

Partner with/educate Sales Leaders to ensure deployment are optimized and processes are efficiently executed.

Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance of marketing programs, materials and messaging and perform all company business in accordance with all regulations and company policies and procedures:

Ensure consistency with Commercial Strategies by monitoring changes to Field Sales Targeting, aligning business rules and compliance requirements

Requirements:

Results-oriented with excellent leadership, business acumen, communication, both verbal and written, and collaboration skills focusing on Sales Strategy and Planning.

At least 7+ years of Field Sales or Commercial Operations experience.

Bachelor?s Degree required, MBA preferred.

Knowledge and understanding of Oncology and lung cancer market (business, disease state, product, treatment landscape) and evolving healthcare trends affecting delivery of Oncology care.

Proficient in performing business analyses aligned to Strategic Planning and Targeting and Alignment with supporting skills/experience in the commercial pharmaceutical/biotech business.

Ability to synthesize and integrate the varied sources of data into insight.

Executive presence and the ability to build relationships at levels and become a discussion partner and a trusted advisor on a broad range of management topics.

Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter and strong initiative.

Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and work effectively on matrix teams.

Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.

Understanding of how to get work done in Home Office environment, through teamwork, collaboration, and communication with internal and field-based colleagues.

Entrepreneurial, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, small-company environment.

Flexibility in handling workflow in a multi-tasking environment.

Ability to work under pressure, meeting time sensitive deadlines, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
