hands-on data technology leader that can help us build our next

The Expertise we’re looking for
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technology related field
(e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required.
10+ years of Software delivery experience with 5+ years in
implementing distributed data processing, event driven data
processing, stream processing and data integration patterns.
Extensive experience in Object Oriented Programming (Java,
Python) and microservices.
Deep knowledge in implementing polyglot persistency
(Relational/NoSQL) and open source data technologies.
Demonstrated e xperience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and
Continuous Delivery and dockerization.
Solid experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM)
Familiar with metadata management, data lineage, and principles
of data governance
Experience loading and querying cloud-hosted databases such as
Redshift and Snowflake
Demonstrated knowledge building cloud-native streaming data
pipelines using Kafka, Spark, or Flink
Familiarity with binary data serialization formats such as
Parquet, Avro, and Thrift

Director, Software Engineering Development in PI Customer Data
Technologies will lead agile teams to design and develop highly
available, scalable and distributed data platforms using cloud
based open source frameworks to process high volume, high velocity
and wide variety of structured and unstructured data. This role is
also responsible for driving innovation, prototyping and
recommending solutions in Big data and analytics space.
