Customers are desktop users, automation colleagues, plus local & global support. Operate the facility with cable management, network infrastructure, system support & administration. Provide production operations support as required, including serving as part of an on-call rotation. Relationships Reports to Manager, IT Operations & Support. Essential Functions Responsive end-user supportHands-on support for manufacturing & business network operationsSupport mobile operations devices (barcode scanners & PCs) & end usersSupport local QC laboratory IT systemsManage network backup operationsServe as bridge between desktop support & IT infrastructureInventory control of patch cables, video cables, peripherals & other IT itemsManage relationships with customers, corporate management, & external vendors/contractorsComply with internal & external regulations & proceduresFollow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesWork independently when requiredDocument & deploy standard practices around networks & cabling to ensure no single person points of failureAccomplish daily activities in project mode & later in operational modeOther accountabilities, as assigned Physical Requirements Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.)
