are the right person for the Mobile Unit Operator position if you
are dependable, safety-oriented, and flexible. Operating the mobile
unit, which is built on a bus chassis and requires a Commercial
Driver's License, is a priority for this person. The mobile unit is
used to stage field operations for various PTRC departments across
the 12 county Piedmont Triad Region of North Carolina.The ideal
candidate for the Mobile Unit Operator is passionate about serving
the Piedmont Triad Region. The ability to safely drive the mobile
unit to a remote location and set the unit up by engaging slide
outs, stabilizers, and awnings is essential to this role.
Additional responsibilities may include interacting with clients
and event attendees and providing general customer service. PM21
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The candidate for the Mobile Unit Operator
would have a valid NC Class B commercial driver's license with
passenger endorsement. Tact and courtesy since working with
customers, staff, and elected officials is essential in this role.
Customer service skills and a good driving record are a must.If you
are selected to fill the role of Mobile Unit Operator, you will
need to present a valid NC Class B commercial driver's license,
pass the pre-employment Department of Transportation drug screen
and organization's background screening process. Travel within the
region is a requirement. Additional benefits include company
