If you have a passion for working with innovative technology to deliver customer value, look no further!The RoleThe Recommendation Engine Product team within Fidelity's Personal Investing (PI) organization is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to advance Fidelity's quest in up-to-the-moment customer personalization. In this role, you will apply a variety of cloud native and on-prem technologies to develop AI/ML driven solutions, passionate about the new lead generation platform for enterprise consumption. This position is a critical element to delivering Fidelity's promise of crafting the best customer experiences in financial services.The Expertise You Have

• Bachelor's Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, etc.) required
• Strong experience with Java and J2EE (5-7 years of experience)
• Working knowledge of relational database
• Event driven & stream data processing experience preferred
• AWS SNS, AWS SQS, AWS Kinesis, AWS Kinesis Data Analytics experience preferred (or looking for a candidate who has solid experience with Java/J2EE that wants to learn AWS)
• Kafka, Flink, Spark streaming experience preferredThe Skills You Bring
  • A passion for crafting and delivering software solutions using groundbreaking technologies and constantly looking to learn new cloud native technologies and bring them into production.
  • A good understanding of backend databases, both analytical and operational (RDBMS with NoSQL as a plus).
  • Experience in RESTful APIs and Python is a plus
  • Experience in cloud-based messaging technologies also a plus (SNS, SQS) as well as Lambda functions.The Value You Deliver
