We are currently sourcing for a Mainframe Programmer/Analyst to work in Fidelity's Brokerage Technology Group in Durham NC, Jersey City NJ or Westlake TX.The RoleWe require an experienced Mainframe developer for the Institutional Delivery and Allocations squad in Brokerage Transaction Processing domain. The squad member will work on development and support of Mainframe programs and batch jobs, they are responsible for several critical systems like BTAM, ITAM, ARI, D1, etc. They will also occasionally perform incident response and participate in tech lifecycle management initiatives. They will coordinate multiple development work streams through integration and adopt industry standard processes. Mainframes Engineer will need to work independently and as part of a team to analyze, research code, recommend and detail technical design strategies, develop, test, and work with environment groups to integrate and support changes from development to test to production environments!The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems required
• 10+ years of experience in mainframe coding and debugging
• COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ Series, Control-M batch scheduler and related utilities and tools
• Must be experienced with Full software lifecycle: coding, testing, and implementation of COBOL, CICS, DB2, DB2 Native Stored Procedures, and VSAM solutions
• Strong VSAM/File-Aid/DB2 skills a must
• Financial Services experience and working with Trades Processing Systems
• Knowledge of DTCC Clearance and settlement flows (UTC, RTTM CMU, and GSCC)
• Endevor Software Manager migration tool/process
• SFTP/AWXAY Secure File transfer knowledge
• Must be proficient in designing and maintaining systems in the MVS mainframe environment
• Ability to work in an Agile Scrum mode
• Ability to work independently and within a team structure
• Build and implement test plans
• Manage and raise issues as necessary
• Documentation, ability to produce the following type of documents:
• System Requirements
• Data and Architectural Flow Diagrams
• Technical Specifications
• Test Plans
• Production rollout and post implementation support
• Problem determination and resolution
