talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesYou will be part of a team whose
mission is to advance the state of the art in quantum compilation
within IBM's quantum control systems. As a Software Engineering
Researcher, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary, global
team of developers and researchers in the IBM Quantum Team to bring
new capabilities to life. Your work will sit at the intersection of
experimental quantum computing, compilers, and heterogenous
computer architectures, and help develop the software stack for the
next generation of quantum computers. If you are self-motivated,

you!This position is can be located anywhere in USAIf you are hired
into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range
for this position is $94,000 to $145,000 or $116,000 to $178,000
based on a full time work schedule. Your ultimate compensation may
vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For Part
time roles, the compensation will be adjusted accordingly.Required
Technical and Professional Expertise+ Experience in designing and
building software systems for quantum control systems (experience
in microwave, telecommunication, or robotics systems may be
considered as substitutes).+ Good communication skills.Preferred
Technical and Professional Expertise+ 3 plus years experience
programming in C++.+ Experience with MLIR and LLVM+ Experience in
compiler and language design+ Good familiarity with quantum
circuits, circuit optimizers, and quantum algorithms+ Experience
conducting independent research in quantum computing+ Familiarity
with basic constraints of quantum hardware modalities, including
superconducting and ion trap qubits+ Experience with collaborative
software development (e.g. design docs, code reviews, using
prototypes to inform development choices)+ Prior contributions to
