Are you an experienced IT Vendor Contract Manager? If so, let's talk!

Our client is actively seeking a talented IT Vendor Contract Manager. This is a fully remote 12-month contract assignment.

Job Overview:

The IT Vendor Contract Manager is responsible for the lifecycle of vendor contracts including vendor selection, scope definition, contract negotiation, onboarding, maintenance and offboarding. In addition, the IT Vendor Contract Manager ensures the proper creation and maintenance of all vendor contract artifacts.

Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborates with IT Leadership, Legal, Finance and other teams on vendor selection, agreement negotiation, Invoice processing and agreement termination

Determines and documents agreement terms, conditions, scopes, service levels, penalties and incentives

Validates agreement scope accuracy with relevant stakeholders

Oversees completion and approval of vendor agreements

Ensures agreement acceptance process is executed

Ensures on-boarding and off-boarding of vendor resources

Ensures time accounting is performed according to the agreement

Ensures demand forecasts are accurate and available

Ensures rate cards are used and updated according to the agreement

Ensures contract approvals are performed according to the agreement

Ensures agreement changes are documented as required

Drives agreement termination/renewal efforts

Maintains complete set of contract artifacts in system of record

Maintains a complete list of agreement deliverables

Maintains a calendar of events relator to the vendor agreement

Ensures agreement governance policies and procedures are executed as required

Preferred Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in the responsibilities outlined above

Excellent contract drafting skills

Ability to summarize and communicate (written and oral) contract concepts in a clear and concise manner

Experience with common regulatory controls and data privacy laws

Ability to lead a negotiation, understanding how to balance key risks and opportunities to reach a mutually acceptable agreement for all stakeholders

Strong knowledge of Service Delivery toolsets such as JIRA and ServiceNow

Knowledge of Vendor Management System tools

Strong ability to communicate with multiple tools users at all levels of the organization

ITIL v3 Foundation certification strongly preferred, ITIL Intermediate or Expert certifications would be a plus

Excellent organization and analytical skills

Global teaming and remote collaboration

Proven ability to work in collaboration with external service providers, building and developing effective service provider relationships

Excellent influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Ability to act quickly and decisively
