Job Description:

Our industry-leading financial services client is seeking an experienced Software Engineer in Test (SWET) to deliver quality assurance for data engineering. You will work collaboratively in an Agile team to ensure projects and products meet quality standards. We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. • Leverage modern Big Data technologies and tools like Snowflake, Airflow, and AWS
• Build end-to-end test strategy; execute test cases, automation strategies,defect triage, and retesting of defects through resolution
• Contribute to automation roadmap
• Seek out opportunities for continuous improvement Requirements of the SWET:
  • Several years of SW development, big data/data lake/data warehouse experience
  • At least 1 year of software QA or relevant experience
  • Expertise in SW development, QA principles, and Agile methodology
  • Experience with test automation and build tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Maven, etc.
  • Strong SQL skills, Java and Python development experience
  • Experience with data pipeline testing of DW platforms
  • Jira experience is essential
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and with management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
