Job Description:
A. Clean food preparation areas, cooking services, and utensils.
B. Cook and package batches of food. C. Maintain sanitation,
health, and safety standards in work areas. D. Measure ingredients
for specific food items being prepared. E. Mix ingredients and prep
for meals according to menu or as designated by Cafeteria Manager.
F. Operate large kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, steamers,
fryers, and hot tables. G. Pre-cook items for later use. H. Assist
with supervision of clients and volunteers working in the kitchen.
I. Clean, stock and restock workstations and stock areas. J. Wash,
cut and prepare foods designated for cooking. K. Verify that
prepared foods meet requirements for quality and quantity. L.
Assist with ordering and the delivery of supplies.
