The Hotel is now seeking a reservations agent to join our
RESERVATIONS Team. This is a full time position, requiring the
successful candidate to work varying HOURS AND days each week.
Responsibilities: To take and input reservations in a courteous,
efficient manner, while selling the property and its amenities at
the best possible rate to maximize revenues.
Reports to work dressed in proper attire and on time as outlined in
the employee handbook.
Ensure prompt and courteous answering of reservation lines.
Keep abreast of current information regarding room rates, room
availability, special packages, special promotions and current sell
Familiar with hours of operation of all hotel outlets and services
available to guests.
Follows hotel operation procedures, reports to work with a

Department for action.
Keeps aware of all special dates (i.e., graduation, parents
weekend, and homecomings) and the occupancy status of those

To do this job you must have the following licenses or
certifications before being hired: High School Diploma or

education and/or experience: Previous
hotel or front office experience preferred.
NOTE: This hotel operates seven days a week, twenty-four hours a
day and that holidays such as
Christmas, New Years, Easter, Mothers Day, Thanksgiving, Fourth of
July or any other holidays are normal working days. Business levels
will determine the amount of hours you work. Understand that you
may be asked to work in other departments in a related position as
required. Management retains the discretion to add and/or change
the duties of this position at any time.
