• Job Id 1321753 New What You'll Do This important leadership role will lead the Public Sector Proposal team and is expected to motivate, inspire, and continually develop the US Public Sector Proposal team members, while continually refining the proposal engagement and response process. You'll have a chance to make a direct impact in our local communities, supporting those who Serve, Protect, and Educate. Who You'll Work With You'll lead high performing Proposal team that supports the Federal and SLED markets for Cisco. You'll be expected to build strong business partnerships with Sales, Capture, Business Development, Public Funding team, and other stakeholder groups to drive a collaborative and innovative approach for business success. Who You Are This leader will have a-- deep understanding of and be compliant with all processes and policies relating to the development of Public Sector proposals . Detailed activities are listed below: Activities -- Manage and oversee all aspects of the Proposal Center operations, including budget, resource organization and allocation, team member professional development, salary administration and schedules bid volumes. -- Schedule and manage Proposal Center logistics, including proposal manager and writer assignments, strategy and proposal reviews, and strategy implementation process. -- Lead change management efforts, including building new department processes and leading customer service efforts to internal stakeholders. -- Motivate and coach proposal staff to facilitate breakthrough thinking, empowerment and ownership. -- Continuously evaluate and recommend alternative approaches or ways to improve the proposal response process, accuracy of budget, staff and other resource allocation needs. -- Serve as escalation point for open decisions, issues and risks to support quality/performance standards and reinforce deadlines. -- Communicate and enforce departmental processes, administrative policies and procedures, priorities and methods.-- -- Establish, measure, and communicate key success metrics to the leadership team
