Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 10 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 20, 2026 - Length: 10 weeks - Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC)/Stepdown unit with cardiac telemetry experience and an NC or Compact RN license in hand. Details - Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) in an acute hospital setting - Cardiac telemetry and stepdown patient population - Rotating days and nights on a blocked 8-week schedule: Days 7:00–19:30, Nights 19:00–7:30 (3x12-hour shifts) - Minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 4 Monday or Friday shifts required based on unit needs - On-call responsibilities required - Floating may occur within PCU, Stepdown, and IMCU areas - Epic EMR used Requirements - Active NC or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration - Current BLS and ACLS certifications in hand at time of consideration - Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered - Epic EMR experience required - 1 supervisory professional reference from within the last year required - SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information - Provide intermediate cardiac telemetry nursing care in a stepdown/IMC environment - Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly - Royal blue scrubs required - Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted - Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a reduced pay rate - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Blocked scheduling is not available for this position American Traveler Job ID P-691587.
