Job Description:
Position Summary The Division of Comprehensive Neurology at the
UNC Department of Neurology is seeking a dedicated and highly
skilled Neurohospitalist to join our dynamic faculty team. This
position offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional
inpatient neurological care, engage in academic activities, and
contribute to the advancement of neurological sciences through
research and education. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive
inpatient care to patients with a wide range of neurological
conditions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare
professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Participate in
the education and training of medical students, residents, and
fellows. Oversee Residents and Advanced Practice Providers caring
for hospitalized patients. Participate in quality improvement
initiatives and departmental meetings. Preferred Qualifications,
Competencies, And Experience * Fellowship training in
Neurohospitalist Medicine or equivalent experience. * Experience in
an academic medical center. * Track record of scholarly activity,
including publications and presentations. * Experience with quality
improvement initiatives.
