Echo Tech Location: South Hill, VA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $2,400 to $2,560 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $60.00 - $64.00/Hourly. Summary: An Echo Technician (Cardiac Sonographer) performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging of the heart (echocardiography) to help physicians evaluate cardiac structure and function. They operate specialized imaging equipment, analyze images, and assist in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities: Perform echocardiograms including transthoracic (TTE), transesophageal (TEE), and stress echocardiography. Capture high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and surrounding structures. Evaluate cardiac chambers, valves, blood flow, and overall heart function. Assist physicians during specialized procedures such as TEE. Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining the process clearly.
