Deliver advanced clinical nursing care in a dynamic operating room environment, providing critical support in a hospital setting while adhering to professional nursing standards. This contract role offers the opportunity to coordinate and deliver patient-centered care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes and promote a safe, efficient healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Participate in ongoing education to meet personal and patient learning needs. Assess patient and family readiness and developmental levels for effective education. Identify and evaluate expected patient outcomes, revising care plans with guidance as necessary. Demonstrate expertise in caring for patients with complex clinical conditions, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects. Perform bedside point-of-care testing aligned with patient care plans. Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs. Collaborate with resources and teams to address complex care issues and discharge planning. Engage in unit goals, performance improvement, and cost-effective care initiatives. Maintain effective communication across departments and with patients families. Promote a clean, safe, and secure hospital environment. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and anticipate discharge needs. Incorporate cultural and ethnic considerations into patient care planning. Stay informed on current research and best practices applicable to nursing care. Desired Experience & Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with Operating Room experience. Competence in complex patient care within surgical settings. Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
