Details - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the 3rd floor of a hospital setting - 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM - 36 hours per week, 3 days per week - 13-week contract Requirements - Active RN license in the state of North Carolina (standard or compact) - Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) - Current NIHSS certification - Minimum 1 year of nursing experience - Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred Additional Information - Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation - Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate and update patient care plans - Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required by patient care plans - Assesses and anticipates discharge needs for individual patients and families - Two professional references required for consideration - Drug screen results are required prior to start; candidates should be prepared to report to the lab promptly upon committing to the position American Traveler Job ID P-686670.
