Details - Outpatient OB/GYN clinic setting - Monday through Friday schedule with first appointment at 8:30 AM and last appointment at 3:45 PM - 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts - Uses GE Voluson 6 ultrasound equipment Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist - RDMS certification through ARDMS with certification in at least one relevant modality (e.g., Abdomen, OB/GYN, or RVT) - Current BLS for Healthcare Providers - Completion of a 12-month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent certificate program - Experience with GE Voluson 6 ultrasound equipment - License required if applicable - Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information - Assists the radiologist in performing invasive diagnostic techniques including needle biopsies, aspirations, and guided needle-wire placement exams - Evaluates contraindications such as medications, insufficient patient preparation, or patient inability to tolerate procedures - Recognizes sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissues, structures, and blood flow - Images structures while simultaneously obtaining Doppler signal and recording images and Doppler shift recordings for radiologist interpretation - Advises radiologist and/or referring physician of examination results and provides preliminary diagnostic information - Provides standardization and training to residents regarding ultrasound exams American Traveler Job ID P-684922.
