This contract opportunity involves coordinating and providing patient-centered care following professional nursing standards. Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, you will utilize the nursing process to support patients with complex medical and psychosocial needs. Key Responsibilities: Assess patients physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs accurately and prioritize care accordingly. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care. Educate patients and families, assessing readiness and developmental levels to optimize learning. Perform bedside point-of-care testing as part of patient care plans. Participate in professional development and ongoing education to maintain nursing competencies. Promote a safe, clean, and secure healthcare environment. Engage in unit performance improvement activities and contribute feedback to colleagues. Coordinate discharge planning considering patient and family needs and resources.
