Apply now for North Carolina nursing jobs./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) / Labor and Delivery Nurse/n - Location: Oxford, NC 27565 (Granville County) — travel nursing opportunity in North Carolina/n - Assignment Type: Travel, On-Site (travel nursing)/n - Start Date: March 23, 2026/n - End Date: June 22, 2026/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 - $1770/n - Shift: Night, 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Number of Openings: 2/n - EMR: MEDITECH (experience helpful; training available)/n /n/nJob Requirements / Qualifications/n /n - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing/n - Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (must be active at time of submission)/n - Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery or Obstetric nursing experience required; 2 years preferred/n - Experience with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), maternal/fetal assessment, and postpartum care preferred/n - Travel nursing experience preferred but not required/n - Ability to provide 2 supervisory references/n - Copy of required certifications per facility/unit standards (BLS required; NRP and perinatal certifications preferred)/n - Requested Time Off (RTO) should be kept to a minimum and submitted up front for approval/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality, compassionate maternal and newborn care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery/n - Perform ongoing maternal and fetal assessments, including continuous and intermittent electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), and respond promptly to changes in condition/n - Assist with deliveries, support vaginal and cesarean births as needed, and coordinate care with anesthesia and neonatal teams/n - Manage postpartum care, newborn assessment, and initial stabilization in collaboration with interdisciplinary staff/n - Educate and support patients and families regarding labor, delivery, breastfeeding, and postpartum expectations/n - Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the MEDITECH EMR system/n - Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment consistent with hospital policies and infection prevention standards/n /n/n Why Oxford, NC?
