Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
opportunity offers an engaging role for a skilled Occupational
Therapist specializing in school-based settings. Serving children
from Kindergarten through 6th grade, this position focuses on
delivering targeted OT services within a school environment to
support students developmental and functional needs. Key Details: -
Location: Oxford, NC - Duration: August 13th, 2026 June 16th, 2027
- Weekly Hours: 8 hours per week - Caseload: 4 students (K-6th
grade) - Service Model: Occupational Therapist will provide weekly
sessions to 2 general education/resource students per grade levels
K-6 Responsibilities: - Conduct evaluations and develop
individualized intervention plans tailored to each students needs -
Provide direct occupational therapy sessions focusing on fine motor
skills, sensory processing, and functional independence -
Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate
therapeutic strategies in classroom settings - Maintain accurate
documentation and communicate progress with parents and school
personnel - Assist students in achieving developmental milestones
to enhance their academic and social participation Desired
Qualifications: - Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience
in pediatric and school-based therapy - Familiarity with evaluating
and treating K-6 aged children with diverse needs - Strong
communication and collaboration skills for working within an
educational team - Ability to manage a small caseload effectively
