Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Stepdown /n/n Job Details: /n • Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Rotating weekend schedule required /n• Float required as needed across all facilities /n• Maintain 5:1 patient ratio on days, nights, and weekends /n• Minimum 2 years of experience required /n• First time travelers accepted /n• Neuro PCU experience required /n• Previous Charge RN experience preferred /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH /n• EPIC charting system experience required /n• Must pass mandatory EKG exam (2 attempts allowed) /n• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences /n• Skills include CVA care, External CPAP/BiPAP, TR band, Yale Swallowing screen /n• Experience with central line care, PICC line management, telemetry monitoring /n• Manage cardiac drips without titration, tracheostomy care, dysrhythmia interpretation /n• Care for patients with stroke, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions /n• 24-hour orientation provided /n• Staff scheduled for 6-week periods via self-assisted scheduling through Optilink /n• Local radius restriction of 50 miles /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a 30-bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care department with a primary focus on caring for medical neurological patients. The facility features a Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD) that provides monitoring surveillance for patients.
