Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Orthopedics for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Orthopedics - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/17/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Orthopedics /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Every other weekend schedule with holiday rotation required /n• No on-call responsibilities /n• Minimum 2 years of experience required - no first time travelers accepted /n• Orthopedic and trauma experience required /n• Specialize in pre-op and post-op orthopedic care for elective and trauma patients /n• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:6 (possible stretch to 1:7) /n• Care for patients with total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements and repairs, plus orthopedic trauma /n• EPIC charting system experience required /n• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred /n• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed) /n• Use of Rapid Response Teams /n• Work with safe patient handling equipment and orthopedic equipment including CPM, knee immobilizer, bone foam /n• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations /n• 36-hour orientation period required /n• Subject to floating to any campus if needed /n• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive orthopedic unit with 32 beds serving a daily census of 31 patients.
