Job Description:
Southern Health Partners is looking for an experienced Nursing
Team Manager to continue our mission of providing customized and
innovative healthcare solutions in correctional facilities. As a
Team Manager, you will oversee the nursing staff and ensure the
highest standards of patient care are maintained, in line with our
cost-effective practices. You will play a crucial role in our team
by training and guiding nurses and healthcare specialists,
promoting a collaborative and effective environment, and liaising
with other medical and administrative professionals to enhance the
quality of care. Manage, supervise, and review nursing personnel
and their administrative functions. Ensure compliance with
applicable laws and procedures within the healthcare standards.
Collaborate with other medical staff to plan, manage, and evaluate
health services. Facilitate staff meetings, and training sessions
and promote team-building exercises. Implement and monitor
strategies for the continuity of care and medical records accuracy.
Administer healthcare policies and procedures in conjunction with
team and operational goals. Leadership and personnel management
abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge
of healthcare laws and regulations Experience with healthcare
management systems Critical thinking and problem-solving
capabilities Ability to manage budgetary obligations Valid
Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS/ACLS certification Nurse
Management or Leadership Certification preferred (e.g., ANCC Nurse
Executive Certification)
