Job Description:
As a key leader within our innovative healthcare services at
Southern Health Partners, the Nursing Team Manager will oversee the
nursing staff and ensure that the highest quality of care is
provided to our patients in a correctional facility setting. This
role involves managing nursing operations, establishing protocols
based on industry standards and institutional policies, and
nurturing an environment where the healthcare team can excel and
deliver efficient, patient-centered care. Direct and manage the
daily activities of the nursing staff and ensure compliance with
the applicable regulations and standards. Develop and implement
nursing protocols and procedures to improve efficiency and quality
of care provided to patients. Conduct regular staff meetings and
training sessions to ensure that all employees are informed of the
latest in clinical procedures and compliance regulations. Spearhead
infection control and manage emergency health situations with
promptness and efficiency. Evaluate nursing staff performance,
providing feedback and coaching as needed to enhance professional
development and improve patient care. Monitor patient care for
quality assurance and implement proactive strategies to resolve any
medical or health concerns rapidly. Strong leadership and team
management skills Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in creating and executing health care protocols Crisis
management abilities and ability to work well under pressure
Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
