Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and professional PRN LTC LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our team in Washington, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-quality care to patients in a long-term care setting. You will collaborate with a team of skilled healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of effective patient care and support. This position offers the flexibility of PRN work and the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes in a supportive and rewarding environment. Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures, established standards, and administrative policies. Recognize and respond to changes in patients’ condition and needs; communicate changes to the relevant supervisor and physician as needed. Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the physician. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment by following asepsis standards and procedures and complying with prescribed policies and regulations. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in clinical skills with an ability to handle medical equipment Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Valid LPN license in the state of North Carolina CPR certification
