Emergency Medicine Physician Job Details Job Title: Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician Location: Clinton, North Carolina 28328 Assignment Dates: February 3, 2026 – March 27, 2026 (7 weeks) Shift Schedule: 12-hour overnight shifts (7pm-7am) Estimated Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Salary Range: $6,350 - $7,520 Housing: Hospital-owned apartments provided Travel Reimbursement: Up to $500 Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (Open ICU) Annual Patient Volume: 32,000 Daily Patient Volume: 90-100 EMR System: Meditech 6.1 Emergency Medicine Physician Qualifications Active MD or DO medical license Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (BE within 3 years) Credentialed with North Carolina Medicaid and enrolled in PECOS (required) Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in emergency medicine Ability to provide solo coverage with mid-level provider support Fellowship training preferred Emergency Medicine Physician Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care to a diverse patient population in a busy emergency department Manage 18-20 patient encounters per 12-hour shift Collaborate with mid-level providers for split coverage Document and manage patient care using Meditech 6.1 EMR system Work closely with anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, radiology, and labor & delivery support services Participate in open ICU coverage as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team and explore rewarding emergency medicine jobs in Clinton, North Carolina!
