Job Description Job Description Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Location: Goldsboro, NC Position Type: Direct Hire | Permanent Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week | 12-hour shifts Position Summary We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a hospital setting. The RN is responsible for coordinating and delivering nursing care using the nursing process while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and continuous patient care. This role is open to both experienced RNs and new graduate nurses , with strong onboarding, education, and long-term career growth opportunities available. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, competent nursing care in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to evaluate outcomes and ensure continuity of care Utilize patient education materials and assess readiness to learn Perform point-of-care testing following established guidelines Organize, prioritize, and manage care for patients with complex medical needs Anticipate discharge needs and advocate for patients and families Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide constructive feedback Promote patient safety, cleanliness, and cost-effective care Participate in ongoing professional development, education, and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Required Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of nursing Active North Carolina RN license BLS certification (AHA or ARC) Minimum 1 year of RN experience (New Graduate RNs with less than 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply) Preferred BSN or MSN from an accredited nursing program Compensation Base Pay: $33.00 – $50.45 per hour (based on experience) Shift Differentials (Can be combined) Evening: $3.30/hr Night: $6.00/hr Weekend: $10.00/hr Holiday: 50% of base rate Specialty Differential (OR, ER, ICU): $2.00/hr Bonuses & Incentives New Graduate RN Commitment Program Up to $15,000 over 3 years Experienced RN Retention Incentives Days: Up to $30,000 Nights: Up to $40,000 Relocation Assistance (2-year commitment) 50–250 miles: $2,500 251–500 miles: $5,000 501 miles: $10,000 Pay-In-Lieu-of-Benefits (PLB) Option Full-Time: 30% added to base rate Part-Time: 20% added to base rate (PLB employees remain eligible for differentials and performance awards) Why Join This Team Supportive leadership and team-based culture Strong emphasis on education, certification, and career advancement Opportunities for clinical ladder growth and advanced certifications Stable, fast-paced environment ideal for motivated nurses Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
