Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Lynchburg, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,983 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical - Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in relevant specialty License: Active VA / Compact License required Certifications: BLS Required, ACLS Preferred Must-Have: Teaching hospital/ Charge experience preferred Description: Extending requisition comments and notes. The position requires charge responsibilities. The RN will receive the appropriate pay differential and training for charge duties. Work will be in the Med Surg department with a focus on the diabetic renal unit. Assignments will generally conclude on Saturdays. Weekends are required based on unit needs, typically 2 to 3 weekends per month. There will be limited requests for time off. The institution can cancel assignments up to 36 hours in advance due to census changes. All team members, including travelers, are expected to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires.
