Registered Nurse (RN) | Interventional Radiology Location: Winston Salem, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,068 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103! Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 13-week assignment Highlights: Work in a state-of-the-art interventional radiology suite with three IR rooms at a tertiary care center Average patient volume of 16 cases per day with pre and post coverage in the Radiology Pre-Post Unit as needed Utilize Epic charting system along with Pyxis and SBAR protocols Monday through Friday workload with rotating call coverage for emergencies Scrubs provided; comprehensive 8-hour orientation with dedicated training during first week First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience Requirements: Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license required at start) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale Required skills: Conscious sedation, telemetry monitoring, and knowledge of IR procedures including stroke interventions Preferred skills: PALS, circulating experience, and ventilator management Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred Ability to respond to the facility within 30 minutes for call requirements Call Requirements: Rotational call schedule: approximately 8 call days over a 10-12 week period Initial week as backup call, then transition to primary call on Thursdays Weekday call runs from end of shift until 7:00 AM; weekend call is 24-hour coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) May be assigned call coverage for one holiday (primary or backup) Weekend requirements based on call rotation schedule Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dedicated interventional radiology team at a premier tertiary care center where you'll provide critical care for complex procedures including neuro and stroke interventions.
